Originally a disciple of Master Dave Reeves of Phoenix Performance TaeKwonDo in Mount Forest (now Rise Combat and Fitness), Master Lee earned his first dan in 2010 through the guidance of Master Dave Reeves and Grandmaster Joe Kim.

Master Lee left West Grey/North Wellington County for post-secondary education in the GTA where he continued his TaeKwonDo training, as well as learning other martial art styles such as Karate, Wing Chun Fist, Northern Shaolin and Wushu.

Master Lee began his teaching career in TaeKwonDo at the age of 19 and has continued to teach ever since. During that time, he has continued to share and gain new experiences, knowledge, and expertise with other students and masters of different schools through cross-training sessions and competitions.

In 2017, Master Lee joined the Canadian Armed Forces. He completed his basic training in St. Jean, Québec, and his trade qualifications in Borden, Ontario. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Master Lee was deployed on two domestic operations in efforts to help with the pandemic and was posted back to the Grey Bruce area where his martial arts journey originally commenced.

Upon his return, Master Lee became the latest addition of masters and instructors of the KT fold back under Grandmaster Kim and Master Reeves in 2020 during the pandemic, and rekindled a passion for traditional training.
